Move-Out Apartment Interior Painting in Narragansett
Moving out of a Narragansett apartment or house? We fill the nail holes, cover the scuffs and repaint so the place is ready to hand back.
Move-out painting is about timing and getting it right the first time. We match what is on the walls now, work around your move dates when the schedule allows, and leave the rooms clean.

Move-Out Painting for Tenants and Owners
For tenants
Many leases ask that the walls come back in the condition you got them, apart from normal wear. Nail holes, tape marks, a bold accent wall or a scuffed hallway can come out of a deposit. Check your lease, ask your landlord what they expect, and let us handle the walls.
For owners and landlords
If you own the place, a fresh coat between occupants makes the next showing easier. If you turn units over on a regular cycle, see our rental turnover repaint page.
What a Move-Out Repaint Includes
Every job is a little different, but most move-out repaints cover the same list:
- Filling nail and anchor holes and sanding them flush
- Spot-priming patches and marks so they do not show through
- Painting walls back to the existing color, or a neutral if the owner wants one
- Ceilings and trim where they need it
- Cleaning up so the rooms are ready for the walk-through
Working Around Your Move Dates
The best time to paint is after the furniture is out and before the keys go back. Empty rooms paint fastest and cleanest. Call as soon as you know your dates, and we will tell you honestly what our schedule allows.
Matching the existing color
If you do not know the paint color, we can usually work from a leftover can or a chip from the landlord, or match it from the wall. If a dark accent wall has to go back to white, plan on a primer coat so it covers cleanly.
